I'm a very shy person but when I wear this I feel assertive and in control. It's really hypnotizing, extravagant, oriental … Seemed to be missing something but i can't put my finger on it. It was super strong and smelt like strong alcohol or berries smell. It doesn't carry plastic vanilla vibe, instead it's rich and natural smelling one. The outside of the boxes appeared authentic but the cellophane had been reapplied and the inside of the boxes had been pieced together with untidy cardboard. This strikes me as a warmer, softer version – maybe a ‘winter’ LPRN perhaps? SELECT A PRESCRIPTION. In my opinion, the notes do not blend well; it's as if someone just dumped a variety of heavy perfumes in a bottle. Whereas the opening impressed me, the drydown wasn't captivating at al: a low sillage, full bodied,smoky vanilla with a touch of the aforementioned notes. Everyone talking about reformation so I would like it give try EDT too. The vanilla/almond that I love takes forever to come forward, and therefore I would prefer the edt. in fact, a top i was wearing that i sprayed it on has now been washed and hanging on the line. Very Generic and a too hyped up scent. It is a strong perfume but in a good way. lasting power and sillage good! That is the fastest turn over rate i have ever heard of on a product? Also several people mostly men who have never commented on my dozens of other scents have all of a sudden told me they loved it, without my asking their opinion. It's like Hypnotic Poison has lost some of its appeal. Hard to describe. Its quality and a good blend though, better than the EDT. I’m looking forward to doing a side by side comparison between this and La Petite Robe Noir as I’m astounded at how similar they seem to be to my nose! I much prefer this fragrance to the original EDT and yes, they are different to each other. I definitely see what people mean by describing the liquorice note as most prominent. Then I tried it again and I have to say, though I prefer more flowery scents, it's a dark, sweet, warm, feminine, sultry fragrance. Very dark, sexy and elegant!!
